Refund policy

At Merrlane, customer satisfaction is our priority. If something isn’t right with your order, we’re here to help. Please review our return, refund, and cancellation policy below.

1. 30-Day Return Window

We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused
  • Be unassembled
  • Be undamaged
  • Be in its original packaging
  • Include all original accessories, hardware, and manuals

Returns must be approved by Merrlane before being sent back.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

2. Delivery Inspection & Damage Claims

Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery.

If your item arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Missing parts
  • Incorrect

To process your claim, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the product
  • Photos of the outer packaging
  • Photos of the shipping label

For verified shipping damage, defects, or fulfillment errors, Merrlane will provide an appropriate resolution, including:

  • Replacement
  • Exchange
  • Full refund

At no cost to you.

Claims submitted after 48 hours will still be reviewed, but resolution may depend on carrier claim eligibility and available evidence.

3. Returns for Personal Preference

If you wish to return an item for non-quality-related reasons, such as:

  • Change of mind
  • Style preference
  • Color preference
  • Measurement mismatch
  • Accidental purchase

you may request a return within 30 days of delivery.

Conditions:

  • Item must be unused
  • Item must be unassembled
  • Item must be returned in original packaging
  • Item must be in resalable condition

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Safe packaging for return transit

Please do not arrange return shipping until your return request has been approved and return instructions have been provided.

If a returned item is received in a condition different from its original shipped state, a reasonable deduction may be applied to the refund to reflect diminished value, repackaging, or damage.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Custom-made items
  • Made-to-order products
  • Personalized items
  • Final sale / clearance items (if clearly marked)

5. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled for a full refund before processing or shipment.

Once an order has entered production preparation, fulfillment, or shipping, cancellation may no longer be possible.

If the item has already shipped, the order may be handled under the standard return policy instead.

If delivery is refused or the shipment is returned due to customer-related reasons, return shipping and handling fees may be deducted from the refund.

6. How to Start a Return

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Supporting photos (if applicable)

Do not send items back without prior authorization.

Once approved, we will provide:

  • Return instructions
  • Approved return address
  • Any carrier-specific guidance (if required)

8. Refund Processing

Once your returned item is received, it will be inspected within approximately 3–5 business days.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing time may vary by payment provider
  • Most refunds appear within 5–10 business days

If you have not received your refund after this timeframe:
